On 64bit Windows the file is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft LifeCam

Hint 2:
A version that would survive LiveCam updates would be to revoke read/write access from the file for everyone.

@Paul: Fables, no. They hit you over the head with the message. Analogies, not so much. If anything, I tend to beat analogies to death.

But to each their own. I’ve had a lot of devices over the years that fell by the wayside but a year half in and I still use the iPad very consistently.

1) Reading books, articles, social sites, comics, etc. while in bed, lounging in a hammock, eating breakfast, or curled up on the couch.
2) Recipe book in the kitchen. It’s very useful to be look up things and use the calculator while cooking.
3) Ultimate long drive child entertainment device. We drove 20 hours to Vancouver and two iPads kept both kids occupied the whole time. They watched movies, played games, and drew pictures.
4) Casual games.
5) Note taking when I don’t want to haul a laptop around. I will not that I don’t like to write too much on the on-screen keyboard. I do have a bluetooth keyboard I use if I want to write extensively.
6) iTunes controller so I don’t have to go to my computer to change the music.
7) Portable email access.
