To put Alex to sleep, I sang “99 Bottles Of Beer”. I got all the way down to “-4 bottles of beer on the wall” before I was sure he was asleep. I think it’s the first time that I’ve actually exhausted all the beer on the wall.

negative bottles? assuming they’ve all been taken down and passed around (presumably to drink), is that when people start spewing them back uncontrollably?
crammer: Nah… it’s people calling dibs for the beer arriving on the next beer run.
Frankly, we don’t count bottles of beer at OUR house. We only have bottles of milk here.
crammer: I rethought it. Negative 4 bottles means that we have space for at least 4 more beers, and that should be taken into account on the next beer run.
