I guess we should tell you a bit about ourselves.
Both DDV and I are in our mid-thirties, and have a 2 year-old son, Alex. We currently live in Boston (Cambridge to be specific) and are planning to move to Winterthur in early October, 2008 for approximately 2 years.
I’m a computer geek (among other flavours of geek). We’re moving because of my job; when I heard that an office was opening in Switzerland, I volunteered to go over if they ever needed someone with my skill set.
DDV is a lawyer by training and a stay-at-home mom by choice. She intends to stay at home with Alex while we’re in Switzerland.
Our spelling is coloured by the fact that we all learned to spell (well, those of us that know how to spell learned to spell) in Canada.
