Basically, the NFL Network is exclusively broadcasting 8 prime football games. Notably, the Patriots vs. the Giants in week 17. They are having a spat with cable companies over what tier the NFL Network is ‘sold’ with. Notably, Comcast.
If you care, please use the NFL Network’s lobbying site to send email to the media and politicians. Not because I hope that the latter two will do something about it, but because if enough people complain, the two parties will get their butts in gear and figure something out. I actually used the NFL Network’s form to complain both about the cable companies and the NFL Network (I love using people’s tools against them).
