- Last night, he woke up, stood up in his crib, hit the button to start the music on his Fisher Price aquarium (the music we use to get him to nap), and went back to sleep on his own. Odd.
- He can now go down a single stair completely on his own, with no help, prompting, warnings, or encouragement.
- We think that he signs ‘food’ back at us. He definitely understands the sign.

Technically, I’m quite sure he could also go down many stairs with no help, prompting, warnings, or encouragement…

What do you mean by “he signs food back at us”?
Sarah: He makes the ASL sign for food when he’s hungry / when we make the sign at him and he’s hungry.
