Anyone know where we can get pallets? We’re looking to keep our boxes off the basement floor. Plastic preferred, but wood will do. Free preferred, but cheap will do.

Depending on how much trouble you are willing to go through, you can get them from behind stores. They aren’t always in good condition, but if you check regularly, you should be able to get a good one every now and then. I haven’t actually tried to get palettes this way, but I have noticed palettes by the dumpsters when I was getting cardboard boxes.
Any arts&crafts store will sell palettes. But if you want to keep your stuff dry, have you considered using pallets? Ride your bike around industrial parks’ loading bays in the evenings and you’ll find some sooner or later.
I would think any art supply store would have them, as would Photoshop or any other drawing program.
If you were looking for pallets instead (which I think would work a lot better as they’re much thicker ;) ), check with Home Depot or any retailer that gets quantities of product shipped in by truck. I also happen to have a few “in stock” at the warehouse, but unsure what condition they are in.
I sincerely doubt you’ll be able to score free plastic pallets; wood ones you probably can.
There are often some lying around the back entrance of W20. Other loading docks around campus usually have them too, but W20 isn’t very out of your way.
Note: Kramer wasn’t piling on… crammer’s comment didn’t initially show up because it got caught as spam. :-(
