While we were watching the Leonids with the usual cast of characters, we recognized a pattern in our lives and interactions with friends. A lot of our stories seem to start with “We did X until we Y.” Examples to date include, but are not limited to:
- We ate until we were sick.
- We gambled until we were broke.
- He drank until he puked so much that he burst a blood vessel in his eye.
This is probably a good indication that we don’t have backbones.
